Yemen's internationally recognised government said Iran-aligned Houthis fired six ballistic missiles at the Red Sea port of Mocha on Friday, killing at least four civilians.
Footage released on Saturday (August 15) by Saudi-backed government-affiliated organisation Al Joumhouriya TV showed several small vessels burning, with an on-screen caption reading: "Scenes from the aftermath of the Houthi war crime in the Port of Mocha."
The date when the video was filmed was filmed could not be independently verified, but no older versions were found posted online before August 15. A statement from Yemen's internationally recognized government said that the Houthis fired six ballistic missiles at the port of Mocha on Friday, killing four civilians.
The Houthis also said they used ballistic missiles to attack what they described as a military build-up of weapons and warships belonging to Saudi-backed forces and "mercenaries" in Mocha, destroying boats and weapons.
The escalation in hostilities between the Houthis and the Saudi-backed government has come amid heightened regional tensions from the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
